Water Filtration System Installation in Stone Ridge, NY

Water Filtration System Installation in Stone Ridge, NY

Water filtration system installation is plumbing work first. The filter has to go in at the right spot, with the right valves, without starving the house of flow. Stone Ridge, NY Whole House Water Filtration installs filtration systems in Stone Ridge, NY homes from start to finish.

Here is how a typical job runs:

1. Locate the main shutoff and choose a spot after the meter and before the water heater branch
2. Shut off the water and drain the line
3. Cut in a three-valve bypass loop
4. Mount the sediment stage and the main filter tank or cartridge bank
5. Add pressure gauges and a grounding jumper where needed
6. Restore pressure, check every joint and flush the media

Outdoor installs need extra care. Tanks and housings exposed to sun can degrade, and anything exposed to frost needs an enclosure or a heat source.

We size the system before we buy parts, so the install fits your flow rate and your water test. You will get a walk-through of the bypass valves and a plan for service intervals.
